Calcium chloride can reduce the freezing point of water, and spreading calcium chloride hydrates on roads can prevent freezing and deicing and snow melting. However, the salt water after the melting of ice and snow can damage the soil and vegetation along the road and worsen the pavement concrete.
Calcium chloride solution can also be mixed with dry ice to prepare a low-temperature Cooling bath. Add rod-shaped dry ice in batches to a saline solution until ice cubes appear in the system. The stable temperature of the Cooling bath can be maintained by different kinds and concentrations of salt solutions. Calcium chloride is commonly used as a salt raw material to obtain the required stable temperature by adjusting its concentration. This is not only because calcium chloride is cheap and easy to obtain, but also because the eutectic temperature of the calcium chloride solution (i.e. the temperature at which the solution solidifies to form granular ice salt particles) is quite low, reaching -51.0 ℃. This allows for an adjustable temperature range from 0 ℃ to -51 ℃. This method can be realized in a dewar bottle that can provide heat preservation effect, or a general plastic container can be used to hold a Cooling bath when the Cryogenic storage dewar bottle has a limited volume and needs to prepare more salt solutions. In this case, the temperature is also kept relatively stable.

1. Calcium chloride dihydrate is packaged in double layers. The inner packaging bag is a polyethylene film bag, and the outer packaging is a composite plastic woven bag. Each bag has a net content of 25 kg, 50 kg or tons. When users have special requirements for packaging, supply and demand can be negotiated. Calcium chloride solution is packaged in plastic drums with a net weight of 200 kg per drum. Or determine the packaging according to user requirements.
2. Packaging of calcium chloride dihydrate with inner bag tied; The outer bag should be securely sewn together. The stitching is neat, the needle spacing is uniform, and there is no leakage or skipping. The packaging barrel of calcium chloride solution should be tightly covered internally and tightly covered externally.
