It is a kind of white powder solid. formula is Ca (OH) 2, well known as hydrated lime and lime hydrate, aqueous solution called clarify whitewash.It has the common specility of alkali, is a kind of strong alkali.
Exquisite white powder, soluble in acid, ammonium salt, glycerin, slightly soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol, has a strong alkaline (alkaline better than sodium hydroxide), have corrosion effect on skin and fabric.

Application
1. Calcium hydroxide is a kind of strong alkali, with antiseptic and antiseptic ability, corrosive to skin, fabric.
